Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Lemi mobile application and related services (the "Services") operated by Nekki FZ LLC ("Lemi," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

Lemi is operated by Nekki FZ LLC (UAE Free Zone).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are 13 or older. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete any associated data promptly.

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store, which reflects the nature of the content — not an absence of an age requirement.

3. Your Account

  • Anonymous use. An anonymous account is created automatically on first launch — no personal information required.
  • Sign In with Apple / Google. You may optionally sign in to sync progress across devices. By doing so, you authorize Lemi to receive information from those providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@lemi.life immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting privacy@lemi.life.

4. The Services

4.1 What Lemi Offers

  • Be — daily mindfulness micro-goals;
  • Live — guided meditation timer (10 meditation types);
  • Discover — narrative mindfulness adventures with collectible cards;
  • Cherish — gratitude journal;
  • Create — meditative creative mini-games (drawing, coloring);
  • Mood check-in — daily emoji-based mood log;
  • Energy system — in-app progress currency;
  • Lemi companion — an animated lemur character that responds to your activity through animation.

4.2 Not a Medical Service

Lemi is a general wellness application — not a medical device or mental health treatment. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.

4.3 Changes to the Services

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice of material changes.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Plans and Pricing

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Where available, introductory pricing or free trial periods may apply.

5.2 Free Trial

If offered, no charge applies during the trial. Your subscription begins automatically at trial end unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand.

5.3 Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically each period. Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play settings; access continues until the end of the current period. Partial-period refunds are not issued except as required by Apple, Google, or applicable law.

5.4 Payments

All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Lemi does not store your payment information.

6. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device(s) for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to: copy, modify, sell, or sublicense the App; reverse engineer or decompile it; use it for any unlawful purpose; access it via bots or automated scripts; or interfere with its security or performance.

7. Intellectual Property

All App content — including the Lemi character, meditation audio, card illustrations, creative content, and software — is the property of Nekki FZ LLC or its licensors. The name "LEMI" and Lemi branding are our trademarks. Feedback or ideas you submit to us may be used without restriction or compensation.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App (journal entries, drawings). You grant Lemi a limited license to store and display it solely to provide the Services. We do not use your personal content to train AI models or for any other purpose.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to violate any law; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; transmit harmful or offensive content; or impersonate any person or entity.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, NOR ANY PARTICULAR WELLNESS OUTCOME FROM USE OF THE APP.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEKKI FZ LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nekki FZ LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

13. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Nekki FZ LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple is not responsible for product liability, consumer protection, or IP infringement claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

EEA and UK users retain the right to bring claims before local courts under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary; the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Nekki FZ LLC regarding the Services. We may update these Terms periodically; material changes will be communicated before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
